Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Begin your affordable budget camping adventures by road from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Along the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and the Pyrethrum plantations. Drive further to Narok town and further to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving for evening game drive.

Day 2: Explore Maasai Mara
We spend a full day in the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling savanna grasslands in search of the big five and other numerous plains game including a variety of bird species this park is famous for.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast, then depart by road to Amboseli National Park to continue your budget tour. The Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. We have lunch in Nairobi Lunch, and enjoy a late afternoon game drive en-route to our campsite.

Day 4: Explore Amboseli National Park
This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day, we set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeests to Giraffes to Baboons. A visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast. Midday finds us at the campsite for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another game drive in the evening. Amboseli is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen.

Day 5: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch via the Sheitani lava flow for Tsavo West National Park. An extensive game drive on arrival. Tsavo West National Park has Elephants, Crocodiles, Vervet Monkeys, Antelopes, Baboons, Giraffes, Hippos and Lions etc. The park is a marvel in terms of geo-physical character and plant diversity. Mzima Springs, the source of Mombasa’s water, is located here. These springs are recharged daily with hundreds of millions of liters of crystal clear water by underground streams emanating from Chyulu Hills. At Mzima, all sorts of animals gather for a drink particularly in the dry season. You may also be able to view Hippo and Crocodiles from the underwater glass tank.

Day 6: Tsavo West – Nairobi / Mombasa.
After breakfast, return by road to Nairobi arriving early afternoon to end the budget camping safari.
