Uganda Luxury Safaris, Uganda Budget Tours, Uganda Special Holidays, Uganda Gorilla Trail

Uganda, a famous land of tantalizing attractions. Located in Eastern Africa, also known as the "horn of Africa", this country is usually linked to Tanzania and Uganda with which it formed a loose union at independence. The country is rich in agricultural produce as a result of plenty of rain due to the fact that Lake Victoria, Africa largest fresh water inland sea, takes up most of it area. There are other Rift Valley lakes that also contribute to this moisture content. Several national parks have been set up for wildlife conservation and are popular with tourists.

For wildlife lovers this is the last "bastion" of the nearly extinct mountain gorillas. Bwindi National Park, Queen Elizabeth Game Park, Lake Mburo Park, Semliki National Park are some of the conservation areas that attract a steady flow of tourists.Other areas that are much visited are Mount Ruwenzori National Park for mountain climbing enthusiasts and Mount Elgon National Park to view the pigmy elephants that lick salt off the walls of caves, even as you traverse the mountain and crossover into Kenya.

Among the special interest tours that are available from our offices are cultural tours in Western Uganda, wildlife viewing trips, white water rafting and banjee diving, walking expeditions and bird watching, mountain climbing adventures and camping tours. Boating and fishing trips can be undertaken on Lake Victoria and also on some of the numerous lakes that spot this beautiful country. For those who wish to combine the three countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania trips can be customized to individual group interests. Below please find a number of our regular departures: -
