6 Days Tarangire National Park/ Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park Photographic Lodge safari

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
This 6 days luxury photogrphic  lodge safari of northern circuit tanzania departs after breakfast for a journey by road to Tarangire National park. We arrive for lunch at the lodge followed by an extensive afternoon game drive until 6.30pm. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and a Herd of 3,500 Elephants. The park is also host to a number of rare species including Eland, Oryx, Kudu and Gerenuk.

Day 2: Tarangire National park | Ngorongoro Crater 
After an early breakfast at 6.30am, you will enjoy 4hrs en-route game drive in Tarangire National Park then we drive with our packed lunch boxes to Ngorongoro Crater through Olduvai Gorge, the “cradle of mankind,” where the Leakey family uncovered the fossil of Homohabilis, who lived 1.75 million years ago.  We descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano with an extensive afternoon game drive until 6.00pm. This magnificent natural amphitheater contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Prides of Lion, Black Rhino and Elephant share this land with the legendary Maasai tribesmen. Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely. We spend a splendid afternoon on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site with picnic lunch at a convenient picnic site.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at 6.30am, Leaving with your packed lunch boxes, descend to the crater floor for another 3hrs morning game drive  until 9.30am, exploring its breadth and depth.  Then proceed to Serengeti National Park, the journey will take approximately 3hrs arriving around 1pm to embark on an extensive evening game drive. We find ourselves deep in the heart of this famous migration corridor. With its wide-open spaces, bright blue skies and creature-filled landscape, over the next two days we will discover why the fabled Serengeti typifies the dream of “Old Africa.” Large Prides of Lions laze in the long grasses; Plentiful Families of Elephants feed on acacia bark and trumpet to each other across the plains, while Giraffes, Gazelles, Monkeys, Eland and the whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers. We will leave the park at 6pm to check in at Seronera Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
A Serengeti game viewing day. After breakfast this morning, depart at 7.00am for a full day game drive with your packed lunches. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is also evident here—look for Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Elephant, Giraffe, Antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, Lions, and on a lucky day you can view the spectacular migration of the Wildebeest from Maasai Mara to Serengeti. We will extend on a game drive everywhere to locate the animals, Monkeys and, yes, Birds…but look closely and you will thrill to the Huge Jungle Cats—Lion, Leopard and Cheetah—just watching the world. Rhino, Gazelle, Antelope and massive Elephants by their hundreds. Animals in the trees, on the wing, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers and in streams. The adventure of a lifetime.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Another full day game viewing in Serengeti starts after breakfast at 7.00am with your packed lunches. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is also evident here— The Serengeti National Park with its wide-open spaces, bright blue skies and creature-filled landscape, we will discover why the fabled Serengeti typifies the dream of “Old Africa.” Large Prides of Lions laze in the long grasses, plentiful families of Elephants feed on acacia bark and trumpet to each other across the plains, while Giraffes, Gazelles, Monkeys, Eland and the whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers.

Day 1: Arusha Town – Tarangire National Park
Depart after breakfast for a journey by road to Tarangire National park to start your 8 days photographic tour of northern Tanzania. We arrive for lunch at the lodge followed by an extensive afternoon game drive until 6.30pm. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and a Herd of 3,500 Elephants. Day 2: Tarangire National Park | Lake Manyara National Park
The morning brings a change of ecosystems as we drive to the ancient soda lake of Manyara and check into to a Lodge, standing high on a bluff above a Flamingo-frosted expanse of gleaming water. The game in this petite park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see tree-climbing Lions, which we may declare as our day’s quest, being so thoroughly sated with the big herds of preceding parks. Manyara’s great stork of Pink Flamingos will also delight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, enjoy morning game drive. Lunch, then evening, another game drive. The game in this petite park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see tree-climbing lions, which we may declare our day’s quest, being so thoroughly sated with the big herds of preceding parks. Manyara’s great shock of Pink Flamingos will also delight.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park–dotted with exotic trees such as the giant fig, baobab and mahogany and famous for Lions that sprawl on trees (though rare these days). The Serengeti National Park is our destination today. Depart after lunch for Serengeti National Park, en-route game drive, arriving at Seronera Wildlife Lodge where you will meet the other four people for dinner, we find ourselves deep in the heart of this famous migration corridor. Day 6: Explore Serengeti Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, we will enjoy an extensive game drive starting at 6.30am with our picnic lunch boxes to catch the sunrise over the vast Serengeti National Park. The Park with its wide-open spaces, bright blue skies and creature-filled landscape, would give you an opportunity to discover the African pride.

Day 7: Serengeti Game Reserve - Ngorongoro Crater
